Helen has worked with Philip for over 30 years as a massage therapist and a receptionist. She is highly trained in Biodynamic craniosacral therapy. She has helped with the running of the Kids Clinic for many years and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the practice.
Kids clinic is a unique not for profit clinic day held every six weeks on a Saturday morning throughout the year, providing parents of the Coffs Coast the ability to have their children assessed and treated for a minimal donation.
Philip saw a need in the community for such a service to provide early intervention and treatment to children whose parents may otherwise be unable to access or afford osteopathic treatment. The clinic's primary focus is on screening and treating children for spinal and developmental disorders such as scoliosis and hip dysplasia as well as postural evaluation. Children also present with sports injuries, birth trauma, headaches and general strains and sprains. Kids clinic is a learning/teaching initiative which attracts multiple practitioners and students as well as guest medical and complimentary medical practitioners.
Kids Clinic has been temporarily closed due to the Covid 19 situation. We will advise when it will recommence. At present we are aiming for late July or early August.
